Plateau murder victims gets mass burial
Over 80 people were reportedly killed by bandits in an attack on seven Kanam settlements in Plateau State’s Kanam Local Government Area, and their bodies were mass buried in their villages.
Gunmen on motorcycles assaulted Kanam villages on Sunday, killing 80 people, kidnapping 70, and razing 100 homes, according to The Nation.
On Monday, it was reported that government and commercial activity in the council area were halted as individuals left their jobs to pay their respects to the fatalities.
According to sources, the majority of those deceased were buried in a mass grave amid crying from loved ones.
